Dr Susanna Gamage started the business earlier this year after her much loved Border Collie, Ben, was able to fall asleep for the last time at home – after a battle with terminal liver cancer.
He passed away peacefully in his favourite spot at home, surrounded by family and friends.
Little did he know, he was the inspiration for Susanna’s visiting vet service and become the logo of the company.
“I had always recognised that for some clients, going to the vet was going to be a stressful event either in relation to transport issues or having to have a young family in tow,” she said.
“And after my experience of having Ben treated at home in an environment that was relaxed and familiar to him, it made me realise the importance of offering other people that choice too.
“As animal lovers we all know a pet feels the most comfortable at home, with their beloved owners.”

Susanna graduated from the University of Bristol in the UK and has over a decade of international veterinary experience including clinical treatment of creatures great and small, veterinary pharmaceutical technical advisory and specialist animal diabetic practice.
