Slime has taken over the world – so why not let it take over your child’s upcoming birthday party.
The Art Factory gives kids a hands-on party experience like no one else – where your child not only gets to come away with something special they have crafted themselves – but they learn new skills along the way.
Emma Light, Victorian College of Art graduate and artist, started The Art Factory in 1999 and has been sharing her passion for all things creative ever since.
“It’s a nice change from noisy, rowdy parties,” Ms Light said.
“Kids can come along and have a good time and leave with something they’ve made themselves.”
All parties at The Art Factory are led by an artist party host who engages with the kids and works with them for the duration of the event.
And while slime parties are the most popular at the moment, The Art Factory can tailor parties to suit your child’s interests.
“It’s perfect for kids who love making things,” she said.
“And it’s not just for the younger kids, we cater for teens too – they can make pillows, mosaic or canvas artworks.”
Catering for kids aged 2-5 and 5-12, The Art Factory holds classes during the day for the younger category and after school classes for the older kids.
They also run school holiday programs and even go into local schools to share their knowledge.
