A clever series of ads have been launched in New Zealand to teach children about keeping safe online.
The public awareness campaign tackles the issue of kids stumbling across pornography, online bullying, parental controls and online grooming.
The campaign, run in partnership with NZ Police and NZ Government, shares some disturbing statistics:
- 40% of young Kiwis have online interactions with people they’ve never met in real life.
- Every year, one in five young Kiwis are bullied online
- Many young people are turning to porn to learn about sex
