The gourmet cafe and caterer can make the cake of your dreams, exactly how you want it to look and taste, no matter how complex.
All you need to do is simply outline the design, provide a budget and advise of any dietary requirements.
With an extremely talented pastry chef, no cake request is too difficult for Cooper and Milla’s.
“If we have enough notice, we can do anything,” Owner and Manager Dorothy said.
“We recently made a cake that was vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free and nut-free – that’s just about everything a cake is not supposed to be, but we made it happen and the client was extremely happy.”
Cooper and Milla’s is renowned for its catering, take-home food and delicious cafe fare and coffee.
There has been a renewed focus on its Personalised, One-Of-A-Kind cakes since Dorothy took over the much-loved cafe in January.
“We have amazing cakes – I’ve never had anything like them before,” Dorothy, who was trained in Toulouse, France and in one of the best restaurants in Melbourne’s own ‘Little Italy’ Lygon Street, said.
“The cakes and the coffee are what attracted me. Everything is made with care, just like we would do for our own family”
Recent cake designs requested by parents include Dorothy the Dinosaur, Lightning McQueen and Pinata cakes with surprise centres.
Cakes with simple designs, such as unicorns, can be made to order with a week’s notice.
A month’s notice should be given for larger and more complex designs.
